St-Michel’s Library

The canyon was born from the idea of creating a playful space which would transport the young readers to an imaginary world. It is sculptured in the volume of the existing library.

The cliff creates movement and plays with its different heights within the metallic structure of the ceiling, creating a sort of walking tour of the library. While the outside is made out of perforated wood panels, the different spaces born within welcome the readers to a colourful reading space.
